Perrotin Seoul is pleased to announce Alone with Everybody, a solo exhibition by New York-based, Japan-born artist, Susumu Kamijo. It marks the artist’s first show with the gallery and his first in South Korea. His fascination with poodles, the artist says, was almost an accidental one. In this latest exhibition Alone with Everybody, we witness a continual and playful evolution of his work where the visceral and the ethereal are often alongside each other.

Perrotin and Kasmin are delighted to present a jointly organized exhibition of new work by American artist Mark Ryden. Animal Secrets comprises 10 paintings and 12 works on paper that further develop the artist’s series of portraiture featuring mysterious and mythical creatures. The resulting gallery of enchanted characters embodies the artist’s meticulously-realized signature blend of archetype, kitsch, and narrative mysticism. Animal Secrets is conceived alongside the artist’s most recent exhibition in Tokyo, Yakalina 9.

Perrotin New York is pleased to announce Oli Epp's first solo exhibition in New York presenting new paintings and on view until July 29th, 2022.

Born and raised in London, Epp’s coming-of-age coincided with the ascent of the Internet. Fittingly, his paintings hum with contradictory impulses. Pulled from the 1960s psychedelic-folk hit by Jefferson Airplane, the exhibition’s title Don’t You Want Somebody to Love? aptly describes the search for human connection in the digital age.

Useless Bodies?
FONDAZIONE PRADA , milan
March 31 - August 22, 2022

Spanning more than 3,000 square meters, “Useless Bodies?” is one of the most ambitious thematic investigations realized by Fondazione Prada to date. Conceived for four gallery spaces and the courtyard of its Milan venue, the exhibition explores the present condition of the body in the post-industrial age in which it seems that our physical presence is losing its centrality or is even completely superfluous. This shift impacts every aspect of our lives: from our working conditions to our health, our interpersonal relationships, and the way we retain information. The exhibition “Useless Bodies?” also explores how we physically adapt to a world increasingly based on two-dimensional imagery, not least in the light of the current pandemic.

Thanks to the refurbishment, the public will finally be able to visit this remarkable architectural complex, which is a 20th century heritage site.
